USA All The Way!

Well, we all got here on time and got off to a great start! It's been fun meeting up with you all again and working out who is going to be doing what over the coming months (years?). First of all (of course), we're going to have a holiday! lol.

That's right, we've only just got unpacked and we're giving ourselves a few days off. Well, it is Christmas, after all!

Anyways, I need a couple of days to let the shock of the news settle in. As some of you will know by now, Project USA has been invited to run minor projects in Canada and Mexico, so I'll be zipping up and down like a zippy up and down thing! The main group will be in the US, with two smaller groups based in Canada and Mexico.

Staffing is going to be a problem though, the problem being we haven't got enough! I'm reliably informed by those who are good at reliably informing (Tony and his office), that we're getting some new people. So everybody help out the new guys, make them feel welcome and pretend we all get along just fine! Big smiles all round. lol.

We'll all have a big Christmas dinner together, recover on Monday, and get the USA section started up on Tuesday. On Friday, I'll take a small team to Mexico to set things up there and Richard will do the same for Canada. Looks like we'll be celebrating New Year in three different time zones. It's a hard job but somebody's gotta do it... lol.

By mid January we'll have all three sections working together and I'll be co-ordinating them from the US section, with occasional short visits to Canada and Mexico. If you've got any questions, ask them on the regular forum, which is where this announcement would be if somebody hadn't crashed it. (Don't worry, Jo Jo, I won't tell them who it was. lol.)

That's about it. See you all on Christmas Day. Don't forget to write out your Secret Santa slips and hand them in tonight! Or you will be getting a lump of coal! :-)
